JP Rossi This album takes you on an unexpected, surprising and delicious ride through ambient and experimental soundscapes. Never heard anything like this before, noisy and melodic at the same time, and that makes this music a must-hear for any serious music lover.
Bridges are built between influences of Reich, Eno, Lanois, Sonic Youth and a bunch of classical XXth century composers, all executed on a light "improvised" mode. Favorite track: Alter.

about

This album is the result of the experimentations I have carried out about and around the composition of my piece for electric guitar quartet, Etude Campanologique n°3.

It is the parallel album to the compositions album The Empty Room.

I use, besides normal play on natural harmonics, a bottleneck operated with the right hand, notes being plucked and tapped with the left hand, creating "bell like" complex harmonics patterns.
Among a rather big amount of recordings and improvisations, I selected a few of them that I found proper to further developments and elaborated these nine « frames » pieces.
